Barr. Ogeah made the assertion while briefing news hunters in Warri as part of the new bi-weekly media briefing introduced by the Delta State government to let people of the state keep abreast with the workings of the Uduaghan administration.

The commissioner enumerated some of the new achievements of the state government to include the release of fund for 38 Deltans as scholarship for aviation training totaling over one hundred and ninety seven million naira.

According  to Barr. Ogeah ,  the health sector received a major boost with the construction of administrative blocks at both Warri and Agbor schools of Nursing.

He disclosed that the state executive council has also made approval for technical incubation centre to be constructed at Asaba  the state capital, adding that approval of three hundred and sixty million naira was also granted for the Millennium Development Goals, MDGs,  projects , while the National Youth Service Corps got  approval for the reconstruction of a befitting orientation camp at Ogwashi- Uku.

While noting that the state executive council  recently approved the construction of Emu – Obodoeti Abraka road , Barr. Ogeah disclosed that governor Emmanuel Uduaghan has set up a committee to harness good potentials from any Deltan who has new innovations that can move the state forward.

When asked about the delay in the conduct of local government elections by Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC, the commissioner noted that the responsibility of conducting the polls rest on DSIEC , adding that the commission is expected to fashion out a time table for the much anticipated polls and not the responsibility of the state executive council.
