Mobile Permits: Delta begins impounding of defaulting vehicles March 25

Delta State Signage and Advertisement Agency, DESAA will on Monday March 25, commence impounding of vehicles without the authorized 2019 mobile advertisement permits, mobile stickers, emblem, waste and motor park permits, among other statutory obligations.

The Director of Information, Delta State Ministry of Information, Mr. Paul Osahor in a statement, warned that vehicle owners who obtained mobile advert operational permits outside the two approved agents; GEHOBLESS Nigeria and HASCKEF GEE, will have their vehicles impounded.

The statement which stressed that religious organizations are exempted from paying for the mobile advertisements on their vehicles, averred that any unauthorized company or individuals found undertaking the sale of mobile advertisement permits, will face the full weight of the law as the state government will no longer tolerate situations where Deltans are confronted with illegal multiple taxations.

In the same vein, DESAA explained, “ the Association of Local Government of Nigeria ALGON, Delta State Chapter, has also approved that DESAA’s approved consultants, GEHOBLESS Nigeria  and HASCKEF GEE, carry out the sale of all mobile stickers, emblem, loading offloading, sales/supply permit, Liquor Mineral Water, Refuse Waste, Sanitation, Motor Park Permits and all other stickers that falls within the jurisdiction of local government councils by the 1999 Constitution as amended on Levies and Taxes Act”.
