Chairman of Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, Warri South Chapter, Comrade Ishmael Ikuejawa and wife, Mrs. Eyitemi Ikuejawa on Sunday May 26, dedicated their newly born twins to God after waiting upon God’s blessing for 16 years.
While dedicating the babies; Baby Ayomide Oritsetsolaye and Baby Ayomikun Oritsemoyogbemi to God, father of the children, Comrade Ikuejawa, said, “waiting upon God to get blessed with children and any other thing is the best in life. Everybody's time to be blessed is not same with another, hence when your time comes, it attracts everybody and everyone come together to celebrate it”.
He enjoined people expecting the blessing of God, to pray and wait upon the Lord, “as He prepares the way for their celebration”.
In his sermon titled ‘no more waiting’, the cleric in charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Latter House Model Parish, Udu, Pastor Vetious Fowhe, admonished Christians to focus their trust in God, “because it is only God, that cannot fail anyone in life at any point in time”, even as he charged brethren not to believe in man, “because man will always fail”.
Pst. Fowhe who prayed for more blessing upon Comrade & Mrs. Ishmael Ikuejawa, took his text from John 5:1-9, Proverbs 13:12 and 2chro. 7:14.
