The Delta State Police Command says that no official report was made of the alleged attack on Buhari's supporter, Mr. Elvis Omoiri in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area in Delta State.
The Divisional Police Officer in-charge of Effurun, in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International, explained, "we have been able to trace the victim to the hospital where he is presently receiving treatment and his statement has been recorded accordingly".
Meanwhile, the suspect is presently on the run, as detailed investigation has commenced with a view to arresting the fleeing suspect for further necessary action.
