Veteran administrator and Head of Personnel Management, HPM, of Warri South Local Government Council in Delta State, Comrade, Douglas Onetesirosan Akambe, says he is encouraged to do more in terms of contributions to the growth and development of local government system in Nigeria.

Comrade Akambe gave the assurance Tuesday September 17, after receiving another award of excellence for integrity, transparency, probity and accountability as well as best Head of Personnel Management from Lamplight News, an Abuja and Lagos based newspaper, that publish twice a month.
The renowned administrator who dedicated the award to God and “wonderful Chairman” of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, thanked the Warri South Council Boss for giving him the enabling environment to work.
He appreciated staffers of Warri South and other councils he has worked, for their support and cooperation.
Editor of Lamplight News, Mr. Francis Okwufulueze, in his remarks before presenting the award, noted that the award was bestowed on Comrade Akambe after thorough work from a fact-finding committee that did their investigation independently.
