There is palpable danger as scorched Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, 33KVA line continues to supply electricity to the Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company, WRPC in Delta State, for over two years without effort by the DISCO to fix the high powered line.

Our Senior Correspondent, who was at the location, reports that tankers conveying petroleum products, sometimes park under the burnt 33KVA high tension line, thus facing avoidable danger.

The burnt BEDC 33KVA line with electricity running through it, remains unattended to despite caution signs by the company against trading on its power line.

At Shaguuolor/Ekpan Pipeline Road, BEDC lines were seen conducting electricity by wooden poles, while at Warri/Sapele Road by Miller Junction to Warri Central Hospital Junction, BEDC cables are anchored on iron poles, with the likely-hood of falling any moment.
