Fresh Angle can authoritatively report that the spiritual head (Olaja-Orori) of Ugborodo, Mr. Benson Dube Omadeli alongside three other indigenes of the community who were arrested by Naval Officers that raided Ugborodo Friday November 22,2013 have been remanded in prison custody on the orders of the Presiding Magistrate of Magistrate Court 1,Warri.
Our Senior Correspondent who was at the court premises in Warri Tuesday November 26, reports that the Presiding Magistrate, Chief Magistrate Ena Odjugo ordered that the quartet be remanded in prison custody for lack of jurisdiction.
Fresh Angle reliably gathered that the four detainees were charged with kidnapping, attempted murder and inciting crisis in Ugborodo Community.
A competent source from the Hon. David Tonwe led leadership of Ugborodo had hinted Fresh Angle before the four detainees were arraigned in the magistrate court that it is a grand design to frustrate the Hon. David Tonwe led faction with a prolonged civil court process.
It was also gathered from a source within the David Tonwe led leadership that money allegedly exchanged hands before the raid was carried out in Ugborodo Friday November 22 by some Naval Officers.
