Something Beautiful

It’s amazing how someone still got your back no matter how distant you both have become over the years, yes we battled feelings, emotions (love and hate) decisions and everything that came afterwards, but somehow we settled for what we never would have imagined without regrets, at least I did.

I have battled getting stuck for so long, forgot I just might still have that one reason not to ever be. I fought within myself so long that it seemed I might just have to live in peace with me because there’s no one else to live with.

I have come to terms with loneliness and I have come to terms with the new found love I have for myself and everything around me that I forgot what it felt like to talk to him, called his name severally even though it didn't fit, I had lost track of what it used to be, but was reminded once how and why I never did, I had faith with a dash of positive thinking, I was hopeful then I realized that he might just help out of the deep hole thank God I wasn't wrong.

I have missed his interest in every issue, his calm soul when listening, his very confident attitude when talking and his relaxed spirit in helping out eventually, we do not communicate all the time but when we do it means one of us realized that there's someone who has my back and is willing to listen and that I feel sums up the whole idea of why we still exist.

Some memories fade, some people as well but not this one. Guess now I should believe there are reasons for some experiences. I never should have let go, I never should have left, I should also not have regrets, I should be thankful that we still invade our space once in a while at least for now. No one knows me like us and nobody helps like we do, that's something different and it's something amazingly beautiful.
