Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Michael Tidi says his administration is not playing politics with the newly introduced technological approach to maximize the Council’s huge revenue profile, but targeted at freeing funds for the development of Warri South Local Government.
Hon. Tidi made the declaration Thursday February 22 at the Warri South Council Main Secretariat in Warri during the formal inauguration of Chairmen and Secretaries of the revenue committees mandated to facilitate the collection of revenues for Warri South Local Government Council in 2018.
He noted that the new technology driven approach will deploy the use of scratch cards to instil confidence in those paying the revenues, members of the committees as well as the council authority.
Hon. Tidi who was flanked by his Vice, Mrs. Divine Iniovosa, the Warri South Local Government Council Head of Personnel Management, Mrs. Remi Omatsuli and Treasurer to the Local Government, Mr. Sunny Otighi, later undertook a working visit to Igbudu Market.
