The Indigenous Correspondents’ Chapel, ICC of Nigerian Union of Journalists, Delta State Council, has commended the management of one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous oil and gas companies, Matrix Energy Limited for “consistently maintaining stability in the approved N145 per litre pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS (fuel) as well as the delivery of quality service”.

Chairman of the Indigenous Correspondents’ Chapel, ICC, Comrade Bartholomew Inneh Ozoh gave the commendation Thursday March 8 at Matrix Energy in Ifie Community, Warri South Local Government Area, when he led other members of the chapel on courtesy visit to the company as parts of efforts to interface with relevant stakeholders with a view to building robust relationship with public offices as well as organizations.

The Group Head, HSE Matrix Energy, Mr. Fred Olomuro who spoke on behalf of the company’s management, assured that Matrix will continue to do her best in making sure fuel is available at all times so long as NNPC which is the sole importer of the product makes it available.

He cautioned against illegal bunkering because of its adverse socio-economic effect on the economy and human lives, admonishing media practitioners to embark on advocacy campaigns against illegal bunkering.

On the deplorable state of Ubeji-Ifie Road, Mr. Olomuro appealed to the Delta State Government to expedite work on the project in order to ease traffic in the area.

The Matrix Energy HSE Boss assured members of ICC of his company’s readiness to partner them, even as he enjoined them to promote “the Matrix Brand”.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that the Head of Administration, Matrix Energy, Alhaji Musa Gatugel, the company’s Depot Head, Mr. Francis Ibe and Head of Maintenance, Adesoji Olusegun were among top officials of Matrix Energy that received members of the Indigenous Correspondents’ Chapel, ICC.
