Replicate your conflict resolution professionalism in Okpe, Monarch tells CEPEJ

One of Delta State prominent Monarchs, Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, Orhue 1 has challenged members of the Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ to replicate their professional expertise in conflict resolution in Okpe communities, expressing happiness at the choice of establishing the NGO’s permanent site in Ugolo-Okpe.

The Okpe Monarch gave the charge Tuesday March 13 at his Palace in Orerokpe when he played host to members of CEPEJ.

He particularly tasked the NGO to intervene in resolving issues of environmental interest between multinational oil companies and Okpe communities.

The National Coordinator of CEPEJ, Comrade Sheriff Mulade while noting that promotion of peaceful coexistence among people irrespective of religion, ethnicity and colour is one of their major objectives, extended invite to the Okpe Monarch for the official unveiling of CEPEJ centre coming up Thursday March 22 at Ugolo-Okpe, Okpe Local Government Area.

Comrade Mulade who is eyeing the Warri South-West Constituency seat in Delta State House of Assembly come 2019, commended the Okpe Monarch for his fatherly role in the sustenance of peaceful coexistence as well as security and development in his kingdom.

In his remark, Chairman of Board of Trustees, CEPEJ, Dr. Godwin Orhadawhe described the Okpe Monarch as a lover of peace and disclosed that the NGO intends building Africa Heritage Academy International which will teach children from primary to secondary school on how to live in peace with their neighbours.

Dr. Orhadawhe also noted that CEPEJ will build Africa Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution studies, where people can learn about conflict resolution as well as living peacefully.

Our Senior Correspondent also reports that that the National Coordinator, Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ, Comrade Mulade was presented with an award as “the Most Distinguished Leader in Diligence & Meritorious Services to Humanity” by the publisher of Fresh Fact Magazine, Mr. Monday Ojomah.
