A former Warri South Council Supervisor for Health and current chairman of Ugbuwangue Community youths, Mr. Kingsley Willobi was brutally attacked and injured in the early hours of Thursday November 8, when youths of Ogunu Community allegedly launched offensive against their Ugbuwangue counterparts over who deserves the right to collect the outlawed"development levy" after the Flyover axis of Ogunu Road,leading to Eagle Round -About,Warri,Delta State. 

Mr. Kingsley Willobi who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, was said to have rushed down to the Ada Val Arenyeka Street,adjourning the Ogunu Road to make peace between both community youths after his car was allegedly vandalized earlier, when he was reportedly attacked by the Ogunu youths.

The action resulted in a reprisal by Ugbuwangue youths on ground and one of the Ogunu youths was reportedly matcheted severely as they were retreating to Ogunu, before men of the Nigerian Army and detachment of Mobile Policemen were drafted to the boundary scene to forestall escalation of the crisis.                             

Fresh Angle International gathered that the two victims were receiving treatment at undisclosed hospitals within the neighbourhood, just as it was revealed that gunshots were heard after the confrontation.                       

Residents ,especially those living in the boundary of the neighbouring communities are currently experiencing anxious moment over palpable fear of fresh attacks overnight.
