Coronation Anniversary: Olu of Warri departs for Itsekiri ancestral home

The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli at about 11 am Thursday November 29 departed Warri for Ode-Itsekiri,the traditional /ancestral headquarters of Itsekiri people worldwide to begin activities commemorating his 3rd year coronation anniversary.                                 

An authoritative source in Warri Council of Chiefs, told Fresh Angle International Thursday night that the Monarch who was accompanied by some prominent Warri Chiefs on the journey, will perform several traditional rites at Ode-Itsekiri, popularly known as Big Warri as part of the coronation anniversary celebration, before returning to the Oil City of Warri December 10 in preparation for the grand finale of the anniversary December 12.                                

The source noted that prominent personalities from different parts of the country are expected to grace the grand finale of the coronation anniversary on December 12.
