A three hundred level political science student of Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa State, identified simply as Jaja havebeen struck by thunder.
The thunder struck him while on a visit tohis friend within the school environment in the evening on the 15th of Juneafter undergoing second semester examination.
Fresh Angle gathered that thevictim, an indigene of Rivers State, suffered severeburns on the left side of his chest, back, stomach and other parts of his bodyas a result of the thunder strike.
He was immediately rushed to a nearbyhospital and sources say he is responding positively to treatment.
