Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, says the engagement of his administration with different stakeholders, including journalists in Warri, on the need to change the narrative of Warri from negativities to its real state of a more peaceful city, “is making Shell (SPDC) to have rethink in terms of returning to Warri”.

While insisting that Warri South is peaceful and the various ethnic nationalities now live in harmony, Dr. Tidi disclosed that the Erejuwa Playground in the heart of Warri, which is undergoing reconstruction, courtesy of a Public Private Partnership, PPP, would be commissioned before May this year.
