Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, has announced the shutting down of Igbudu Market, Warri over non - compliance of the advisory on social distancing as the Coronavirus pandemic ravages the world.
The Warri South Council Boss, who made the statement at about 5:45 pm today, Sunday March 29, after a meeting with security chiefs and leaders of Igbudu Market traders' union, declared that closure of the market, will take effect from 12 midnight.
Dr. Tidi noted that members of the security agencies, have been directed to ensure full compliance of the shutdown order.
