Some applicants have described the ongoing recruitment exercise into Delta State Civil Service as "fraud and a ploy to drain their pockets."
Some of the applicants who spoke exclusively to Fresh AngleTuesday January 7, 2014 at a Cyber Cafe along Okere- Ogborikoko road in Warri said registering for any of the positions advertised in the state government website are time and money consuming. According to them, even if one manages to register, he/she cannot re-log into their account page for possible update of their profiles, pointing out that it becomes impossible to complete other aspects of the application online.
They said paying the one thousand naira processing fee online via verve cards as directed by the state government is proving very difficult. "It will be very impossible for us to make payments, print our acknowledgement form and keep a date as to when the interview will commence", the applicants declared.
The applicants who expressed their thoughts to Our Correspondent accused the state government officials of conceding the employment slots to their cronies, hence “they have made the site (www.deltastatecsc.com) worthless for them to fill in their details and upload their credential.
