Second COVID-19 case in Delta State

The National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG, having followed up the unfolding drama following the death of the second COVID-19 case in Delta State hereby call on the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, to permanently seal and withdraw the licence of the Medical Director of Gifted Hands Clinic and Maternity. #20 Ekurede Itsekiri, opposite St Paul Catholic Church Warri.

Following his unprofessional and life risking handling of the patient. We also wish to call on the Delta State Government to prosecute the said medical director and other culprits who in one way or the other has led to exposing a large number of residents of Ekurede Itsekiri to the deadly COVID-19 virus.

We call on the NCDC and Delta State government to do a thorough contacts tracing and quarantining of all occupants of the said building were the clinic is located.  

We wish to sincerely thank the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council Hon. Michael Tidi (PHD) for his proactive measures in locking down the medical facility this morning.
