A woman by the name Miracle, this afternoon burnt her eight - year old daughter's lap with hot knife for allegedly waking up her younger one of under one year old from sleep.
The incident happened at Omagbemi Lane, Ugbori Community in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The heartless mother had been taken to the community town hall as at the time of this report, while the father of the girl and husband of the woman, identified as Chinese, had been informed of the ugly development through phone call.
