The decontamination in full swing

24 hours after sealing up the one - storey building of four flats accommodating Gifted Hands Clinic and Maternity at Ugbori, off Ekurede Itsekiri Road in Warri, officials of Warri South Local Government Council this morning, Saturday April 11, began decontamination of the building.

The decontamination which is being supervised by the Warri South Council Head of Environment Department, Mrs. Stella Mode, is coming after officials of World Health Organization, NCDC and Delta State Ministry of Health, visited the building yesterday afternoon and took samples of the occupants for the necessary test.

The building was sealed up yesterday, to prevent medical personnel, patients of the clinic and their visitors as well as other residential occupants of the building from going out of the premises and others from coming in, to avoid possible spread of COVID - 19 Pandemic.
