Delta State Government, yesterday reportedly took delivery of COVID - 19 mobile laboratory for the testing of Coronavirus.
The state government had come under huge critisms for not upgrading public hospitals in the state so as to be able to carry out tests of samples taken from suspected Coronavirus patients as well as having adequate isolation centers spread across the state.
A statement obtained from the Delta State Government twitter handle, averred that the state commissioner for health, Dr. Mordi Ononye, received the items on behalf of the state government at the, "Asaba Specialist Hospital when he met with a team from Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Edo State".
“With this mobile laboratory, Delta State will be able to scale up our #COVID19 testing and nip it in the bud as early as possible,” Dr. Ononye said.
