PDP Advocacy Group, PAG, has slammed the member representing Sapele Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Felix Anirah, over his purported use of provocative language and inciting vituperations in recent times on PDP matters, describing the lawmaker’s actions as totally unacceptable.
Chairman of PDP Advocacy Group, PAG, Comrade Ekengbuda Toju Robinson, in a statement released this morning, Wednesday May 13, reiterated that the plot by Chief Anirah and his cohorts against the second term bid of Chief Kingsley Esiso as Delta State Chairman of PDP, was targeted at destabilizing the party and capable of benefitting the main opposition party in the state.
While aligning with the position of the Delta State PDP leadership that Chief Anirah’s actions are, “in complete disregard of the established structures and laid down appropriate channels for aggrieved and respectable members of the party to follow, in seeking clarification or redress on issues”, PAG advised the lawmaker to restrain himself forthwith from any further untoward act or inflammatory remarks.
The group called on the party leadership not to hesitate to invoke disciplinary action against Chief Anirah and his co-travelers, if they continue to violate the PDP Constitution, “either by verbal subterfuge, unnecessary intimidation or irresponsible provocation”.
