The South -South Women Organization, SSWO, has showered encomiums on the national coordinator of the Ijaw Monitoring Group, IMG, Comrade Joseph Evah, over his palliative measures during the COVID-19 lockdown, stressing that Evah, is playing fatherly roles to all the associations established by him till date.
In a statement signed and made available to journalists in Lagos by the President and the Public Relations Officer, PRO, Comrade Felida Essi and Mrs. Bernice Yonlonfun respectively, the group said that Evah has done tremendous things to Niger Deltans and Nigerians at large, adding that most of the political office holders in Nigeria cannot surpass Evah based on his good deeds to humanity.
According to SSWO: "Evah distributed many bags of rice, beans, semovita, indomie noodles, recharge cards and money to a lot of Niger Deltans and Nigerians during the COVID-19 lockdown. Our super Evah has the welfare of his people at heart ".
"We cannot thank Evah enough for his philanthropic gesture and we pray that the Almighty God will continue to bless the work of Evah's hand.Evah has positively touched the lives of many people interms of human empowerment and skill acquisition programmes", the group noted.
It would be recalled that Evah distributed face masks, foodstuffs, among other goodies to Niger Deltans and Nigerians before, during and after the COVID-19 lockdown.
