The Eghare-Aja (Prime Minister) of Ugborodo Community in Warri South-West local government area, Eghare Wellington O. Ojogor has refuted media reports wherein he purportedly authorized the endorsement of Austin Oborogbeyi as chairman of a committee set up to liaise with the federal government on the EPZ project in Ugborodo.
The Eghare- Aja who spoke in Itsekiri on phone from Ugborodo Tuesday January 28 in stuttering tone following his health condition, stated that he did not authorize his last child, Anderson Oyebor Ojogor, who claimed to be his personal assistant in the media reports to make any publication congratulating Austin Oborogbeyi on his behalf.
According to the traditional Prime Minister, Eghare Wellington O. Ojogor, he has not seen his son, Anderson Ojogor for over a year, adding that the said Anderson Oyebor Ojogor has always been sponsored by his enemies against the wishes of majority of Ugborodo people.
Wife of the Eghare-Aja and mother to Anderson Ojogor, Mrs. Oritsebemigho Ojogor also in a telephone chat declared that the activities of Anderson Ojogor have been reported to the Police in ‘A’ Division Warri early 2013, stressing that the family have been having a strained relationship with Anderson for over a year now.
Mrs. Ojogor noted that the people of Ugborodo only recognize Olire Babine as the chairman of the committee to liaise with the federal government on the EPZ project and not an appointee of the state government purportedly having the backing of the Olu of Warri.
