A cleric with First Baptist Church, Warri in Delta State, Rev. J. C. Okoroji (Jnr.) has described human rights’ activists canvassing for same sex marriage as useless, baseless and ungodly, insisting that they forget they were not born by "man-man "parents.
Rev. Okoroji made the declaration during an exhortation at solemnization of holy matrimony held at the First Baptist Church, Warri.
The cleric who spoke on the uniqueness of marriage, explained that human rights’ activists canvassing for same sex marriage also forget that they were not given birth to by animals such as " gorillas, bear, lions, goats and dogs," stressing that there is no way the rights of any man can supersede that of God.
Rev. Okoroji who drew his texts from 1Cor13, 1John4:2-7, John 13:33-34 among other bible verses, admonished those practicing same sex marriages to repent from such evil ways and give their lives to God.
