Prof. Utuamah handed down the warning Monday April 7 when the Committee on Environmental Sanitation commenced sanitization of Enerhen Junction in Uvwie Local Government Area of the State.

The State Commissioner of Information, Barr. Chike Ogeah in a remark declared that the committee is mandated by the Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to restore the master plan of Warri and other parts of the state.

Speaking with newsmen, Delta State Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Frank Omare debunked insinuations by traders that they were not given adequate information to evacuate their illegal shops, adding that the committee will not tolerate any act of lawlessness.

He noted that about 1,600 Environmental Marshals have been engaged by the state government to ensure compliance by the traders.
