An alleged Police Informant identified simply as Chuks on Monday April 28 at about 3pm stabbed his friend, Mukoro Eddy to death for allegedly stealing his generator set at Okumagba Avenue by Estate in Warri, Delta State, Fresh Angle can exclusively report.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that trouble started when Chuks who is from Kwale accused his friend, Mukoro Eddy and one of Mukoro’s siblings of stealing his generator set. The accusation by Chuks sparked off a heated argument between Chuks on one part and Mukoro Eddy as well as his brother on the other part.
According to eyewitnesses, the heated argument degenerated into a fierce battle which saw Mukoro clubbing Chuks on the head, bursting the head of Chuks.
In a retaliation, Chuks allegedly stabbed Mukoro Eddy on his neck with a sharp broken bottle.
Fresh Angle gathered that Mukoro Eddy died instantly in his pool of blood before his body was later rushed to the Warri Central Hospital Morgue.
It was also gathered that the alleged Police Informant, Chuks immediately scampered for safety sensing he has committed murder in the course of wanting to defend himself.
Meanwhile men of the Nigerian Police "B" Division in Warri have launched a manhunt for Chuks so as to arrest him.
