The Entire Board of Trustees of the Environmental Restoration Foundation of Nigeria-ERFON join all sons and daughters of Itsekiri and Ijaw nations in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State to welcome Our Worthy Son and spearhead of the transformation of Nigeria – His Excellency, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR to Delta State - The Finger of God, on Saturday May 10, 2014 for the Ground Breaking Ceremonies of two legacy projects in the Niger Delta for the benefit of NIGERIA, nay Africa.
We also wish to extend warm felicity with your team, especially the Minister of Petroleum & Natural Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar, the Director General/CEO – Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Mr. Patrick Akpobolokemi for the gusto they are giving to Mr. President’s vision for our dear country, Nigeria.
Upon completion, the Industrial Complex housing Africa’s largest gas gathering facility, comprising of power plants, petrochemical refineries, over 5,000 housing units in Ogidigben and the NIMASA Shipyard & Dockyard as well as Nigeria Maritime University, NMU in Gbaramatu will give Nigeria an edge in our push for sustainable industrial, power and agricultural revolutions with immeasurable local capacity development.
Your Excellency, You are indeed a worthy ambassador of the Niger Delta and whilst we appreciate your continuous efforts to ensure adequate environmental restoration of the region, we are tremendously grateful for citing these facilities in the region as part of your Transformation Agenda.
We must also seize this opportunity to congratulate Your Excellency for the successful hosting of the 3-day World Economic Forum, Abuja, WEFA ending today May 9, 2014.
We are particularly grateful to the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan for the conducive state policies and contributions to the EPZ Project and our leader - High Chief Government Ekpemupolo towards the NMU & NIMASA Shipyard and Dockyard Projects.
Of utmost importance also are the traditional and community leaderships of the project sites for their exemplary support for Mr. President’s vision for Nigeria.
