Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, says he identified with the aged, as part of celebration of his 40th birthday anniversary, as a result of the economic challenges posed by the Coronavirus pandemic and the positive influence his grandmother had on his life.
Dr. Tidi, gave the explanation Tuesday September 15, when he led Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Chief (Mrs.) Divine Ann Iniovosa, Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Joseph Oribioye, Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management, Dr. (Mrs.) Minnie Igbrude and hordes of his close associates as well as supporters, to celebrate his 40th birthday with inmates of Catholic Old People’s Home, Warri.

While noting that the occasion had no political colouration, Dr. Tidi, stated that it was regrettable that wealthy people in the society, showed no interest in his resolve to reach out to the disadvantaged elderly people, rather he got support from persons considered ordinary.
He promised to always identify with the aged ones henceforth during his birthdays and public festivity celebrations.
