Onitsha Dry Sea Port: Relocate your business headquarters from South-West and North to South-East, Ohanaeze tells Igbo businessmen


The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, has called on businessmen of Igbo extraction to relocate their business headquarters from South-West and Northern part of the country to South-East, “and maximise the opportunities brought by the Barge Operations at Onitsha Dry Sea Port”. 

 

The apex Igbo Youth body in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International this evening, via electronic mail, stressed the need for Igbo businessmen to make adequate use of the Onne Port and Use the barge Operations to Convey Containers to Onitsha Port, so as to create Jobs for the Youths and accelerate Economic developments of South-East.

 

The statement signed by President- General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide 

Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and the Secretary-General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, emphasized: “Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had Confirmed the breaking of 42 years old jinx at Onitsha Dry Sea Port Anambra State, as Barges were seen Moving Simultaneously Containers in small Quantities from Onne Port Rivers State to Onitsha Port, Igbo Youths had described this monumental moment and developmental strides in the Southeast as another demonstration of love by President Muhammadu Buhari's Government to Ndigbo. 

 

“OYC witnessed the flag off of the Pilot Barge Operations from Onitsha River Port to Onne and thanked their Igbo Son  RT Hon Chibuike Amaechi, for this historical report that will accelerate Economic Growths and developments in the Southeast Region,  as Southeast was agog with celebrations over hope of unflinching access from Onne to Onitsha Dry sea Port, this landmark Breakthroughs initiated by the Ministry of Transport to ensure increased business developments in the Southeast, had brought relief and erased Pains of Igbo Businessmen over Conveyance of Containers by Road. 

 

“Abia State Government and Federal Government through, the Federal Ministry of Transport Should liaise for the Actualization of Owerrinta Dry sea Port, Isiala Ngwa South, Abia State, for the benefits of Igbo businessmen residing in Aba and Owerri environs, We are aware that Abia State Government and Federal Ministry of Transport are in touch, and hopefully it will be another developmental strides of President Muhammadu Buhari's Government in the South-East.
