Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that the National Vice President of the Union in-Charge of North Central, Comrade Onuh Edoka gave the warning on Friday October 9, after the inauguration of the union Caretaker Committee.

He charged the committee to put the interest of members above personal gains, adding that the unionism was all about welfare, hence, efforts should be made to move the union forward.

While inaugurating the Caretaker Committee earlier, the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Amari Gabriel, said the measure was constitutional and in line with the directive of the National Secretariat of the Union.

Comrade Amari, advised the committee to do all within its reach to promote unity and peace, among members to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The Chairman, explained that the committee which will operate as full executive, has three months in the first instance, urging them to ensure a successful transition.

Responding, the Committee Chairman, Mrs. Comfort Ojoma Egwaba, lauded the state council for the opportunity and promised to deliver appropriately.

Other members of the Caretaker Committee include Helen Okolo, Yakubu Danjuma, Sule idris, Napoleon Akoje and Alfa Cyril Ajoka, while Emmanuel Offor, is to serve as Secretary.
