Former Warri South EO of INEC, Uchechukwu to be inducted as Fellow of NIM

A former Electoral Officer, EO of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in-Charge of Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr. Eze Uchechukwu John (FNIM) will be inducted as Fellow of Nigeria Institute of Management, NIM, come Thursday October 15, 2020.

Fresh Angle International understands that the event slated for 11:00am at the Muson Centre Lagos, would be virtual through zoom.

Mr. Uchechukwu, who joined INEC in 2007 as a Principal Planning Officer, has served in different capacities, headed several Local Government Offices of the Commission and carried out several critical responsibilities in the commission, within a period of 13 years. He is presently at the Commission’s Headquarters Abuja, as a directing staff.

We serve you a cursory profile of Mr. Eze Uchechukwu as follows:

Mr. Eze Uchechukwu was born on the 24th of May 1970 to the family of Chief Alfred Alakwe Eze (Ohamadike Isuochi) and Ezinne Helen Eze, both of blessed memory

He started his academic pursuit in Okigwe Township School, Okigwe Imo State, from where he proceeded to the Prestigious Government College, Afikpo, where he obtained his West African School Certificate.

Uchechukwu was in Abia State University and obtained a Bsc in Economics (1992) and an MBA in Business Administration in1996. He has attended many trainings, workshops and seminars, including International Leadership programmes both in and outside the country.

In 1993, as a young graduate, Eze Uchechukwu proceeded to Ogun State for the compulsory one year NYSC and served with ADM Computer Systems Ltd, Abeokuta. He left Ogun State as the best serving Corps Member.

While in Service, he organised a Charity Night in collaboration with Lions Club, Abeokuta and Sagamu and raised fund to buy wheel chairs and clutches for students and corps members living with disabilities. He also with the support of NYSC Management in Ogun State, organized a state-wide essay competition for secondary schools in Ogun State, with the theme: “Maintenance Culture, a recipe to the Nigeria ailing economy”.

Mr. Eze started his career with ECI systems Engineering Ltd as Executive Officer (Logistics) in 1994. He joined Zeex Resources Development Company Ltd, an indigenous Construction company in 1999 as Administrative Manager and left in 2007 as General Manager, when he realized that he had gotten to his peak in the organisation.

He is a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Management, a strong member of the FGBMFI and other Associations and bodies.

Mr. Eze Uchechukwu has acquired skills in Election Management, Finance, Management, Logistics and Business Development. He has won several awards on the job and from several religious and community based organisations.

He is currently serving in the board of Chief Alfred Alakwe Eze Foundation, CAAEF, as non-Executive Director, Contact and Mobilization, an NGO he founded to encourage child education in the rural areas.

He loves reading, education, community development and travelling.

His model is the Lord Jesus Christ and he loves reading leadership and Richard Branson books.
