Today, I led members of the Warri South Council Executive to pay a condolence visit to the Otiris’ at Ubeji town.
In my tribute, I alluded to the fact that the late Julius Otiri who incidentally was a Supervisory Councilor for Finance in the defunct Warri Local Government, is one of Itsekiri nay, Warri greatest men whose major fault is self-effacement.
I am writing this testimony as one of those who learnt at the feet of the unassuming public servant and teacher.
We at the Council admired him greatly, we are profoundly thankful for the legacy he left behind, and we offer our gratitude and our condolences to his immediate and extended family.
