Warri South Council evacuates debris resulting from EndSARS protests
Evacuation of refuse at Lower Erejuwa by Warri Main Garage


The authorities of Warri South Local Government Council in Delta State, today Monday October 26, embarked on massive clean –up of debris, along major roads and streets in the Oil City of Warri.

 

The debris were fallout of the recent #EndSARS# peaceful protests in parts of Warri.

Fresh Angle International can report that the exercise was coordinated by the Warri South Council Supervisor for Environment, Mr. Shegue Gbenesuo and the HOD Environment, Mrs. Stella Mode, on behalf of the Warri South Local Government Chairman, Dr. Michael Tidi.

Areas covered by staffers of the Environment Department of the Council and other Officials mobilized for the effective clean-up include, Lower Erejuwa, Lower Erejuwa Extension, Cemetery Road, Odion Road, Warri Main Garage by Cemetery Road Junction, Ugbuwangue, DBS by Edjeba Junction and Airport Road.

 

 

The Warri South Council Supervisor for Environment, Mr. Shegue Gbenesuo, who spoke on behalf of Dr. Tidi, stated that the exercise was part of a routine daily environmental sanitation policy of the Tidi administration, geared towards creating the right narrative of Warri as a clean and safe haven for investors.
