Media Practitioners in the country have been told not to give up in writing about the wrongs of the society.
Pastor Halidu Ibrahim of Revival House Church, Lokoja Kogi State gave the charge on Sunday November 1, in a sermon to Mark the 2020 Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Press Week.
While charging journalist to hold onto the truth, the clergy noted that Journalists should always develop the spirit of thanking in their lives adding that a new Nigeria is on the way Inspite the challenges presently facing the nation.
The Clergyman maintained that Journalists are the nation’s conscience, tasking them not to be despair in telling the truth.
While noting that all is possible for those who believe, Pastor Halidu, said God Wants his children to always visualize what God can do in there lives.
Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that Pastor Halidu, urged Nigerians to continuously see the grace of God in there lives with thanksgiving, urging Nigerians to connect with there dreams of a prosperous New Nigeria.
He admonished Christians and Believers to make profitable friends in their lives just as he tasked them to always sow seeds towards helping other people.
In a remarks, the Kogi State Chairman, Nigeria Union of journalist Comr. Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, said the Union has set aside the day to thank God for the past and for what to come in the Future.
The NUJ Chairman said the church service for journalist is another way of spiritual rejuvenation for members, adding that the union is positioning its members for better Services.
Highlight of the service was a special Thanksgiving by members of the Kogi State NUJ.
