Chief Whip of Nigerian Senate and former Abia State Governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, says with the victory of Joe Biden as the 46th President - Elect of the United States, COVID - 19 pandemic will soon see its end.
Senator Kalu's comment which was a swift response to the victory of the Democratic Party Presidential Candidate, Joe Biden in the US election, is not unconnected with the way and manner President Donald Trump, has handled the Coronavirus pandemic.
While congratulating Biden, who becomes the oldest man to emerge President of the United States (according to Aljazeera) Senator Kalu stated in a tweet that it was time for the US to restore its world leadership.
He stated: " Congratulations to Joe Biden on his victory as 46th President. The world will heal again. The COVID-19 pandemic will soon see its end. It is time for the US to restore its world leadership."
