More sons, daughters to return home as Usor Community gets new 14-Man Trust Executive

More sons and daughters of the oil-rich Usor Community in the Benin River axis of Warri North Local Government Area in the of Delta State, are to return home if assurances given by the new Chairman of Usor Community Trust Executive, Mr. Sammy Egbeleokoro, is anything to go by.

 

Our Senior Correspondent reports that Mr. Egbeleokoro, who gave the assurance at Usor Monday December 28, during the inauguration of a 14 member Usor Community Trust Executive, explained that the initiative would help to boost investment and development in the community.

 

The new leadership, whose inauguration was witnessed by a large turnout of Usor indigenes, will pilot the affairs of the community for the next four years. 

 

Mr. Egbeleokoro, disclosed the resolve of his executive to give stewardship at every quarter, operate transparent administration and follow laid down rules/regulation, promising to fashion out ways to empower youths as well as women of the community.

 

Secretary-General of the newly sworn-in Usor Community Trust Executive, Amb. Billy Ekele, in an inaugural address, commended the Olu of Warri. Ogiame Ikenwoli, “for his fatherly support to the community”.

 

Amb. Ekele, appreciated the immediate past Chairman of the Community’s Trust Executive, Evangelist Tony Aderojo, “for his numerous contributions toward ensuring that the community becomes stable and achieve significant progress”.

 

He assured that they would make the community greater, noting that the swearing-in of their executive was remarkable, just as he assured that they will attract development, ensure the completion of the ongoing Town Hall project of the community and introduce celebration of Usor Day.

The Olare-Aja (Eldest Man) of Usor, Pa. Alfred Aderojo Omamuminogho, blessed the new leadership and advised them to be good ambassadors of the community.

 

While commending Evangelist Aderojo, Pa. Aderojo urged members of the new executive to work together as one body.

 

Fresh Angle International can report that there was presentation of award of "game changer" to Evangelist Tony Aderojo, “in recognition/appreciation of his outstanding support to the development of Usor Community”.
