Efeturi Otu, elected Pioneer Chairman of Delta State Sewage Union

A Warri based businessman, Mr. Efeturi Otu, has been elected as the pioneer Chairman of the Delta State Sewage Union with a promise to move the Union to greater heights.

Other members of the newly inaugurated Exco of the Union are; Edafe Emuemukore; Vice chairman, Okaiman Humphrey; Secretary, Suleman Ehiane; Financial Secretary, Richard Emobome; Treasurer, Philip Ofremu; Public Relation Officer and Osas Alex; Provost.

Members of the Board of Trustees are James Alloy: President, Power Akpotor: Vice President, David Ubigu: Secretary, Sunday Nwobodo: Member, Charles Ewojero: Member, Japhet Afe: Member and Ambrose Oji: Member.

Speaking recently shortly after the inauguration ceremony of the new Exco, Mr Efeturi Otu, described the birth of the Union as the best thing to happen to Delta State and lauded the state government for approving the Union.

The Chairman of the Delta State Sewage Union promised to carry all members along, saying that; " Be rest assured that we are going to work as a team because together, we will do it better for the good of our people and the state".

While promising to take the Union to enviable heights, Mr. Efeturi Otu, said that the importance of the Union cannot be overemphasized, pointing out that the birth of the Union in the state was long overdue.

He said; "With the inauguration ceremony of the members of Exco of our great Union today, we will hit the ground running immediately and do our best for our dear state and people. We are going to obey all rules and regulations laid down by the Delta State Government. We are going to cooperate fully with the state government to ensure that the health of all residents of Delta State is not compromised in anyway"

The Delta State Sewage Union boss added that; "We are using this medium to solicit for the assistance and cooperation of the Delta State Government in order to carry out our operations in the state peacefully. We also need the support and cooperation of all and sundry in the state to succeed in the great task ahead of us in the Union".
