The All Progressives Congress, APC Councillorship Candidate for Ekurede Itsekiri/ Ugbori Ward 14, Warri South Local Government Area in the forthcoming March 6 Delta State Local Government Poll, Comrade Daniel Oyibo, has alleged that his campaign billboard stationed opposite the Ekurede Itsekiri/ Ugbori Junction, Off the NPA Expressway Bypass in Warri, was removed over a week ago, saying his campaign posters are being torn to shreds daily.
Oyibo, who rushed to Fresh Angle International Office in Warri this morning, Tuesday February 16 to raise the alarm, claimed that the result of the election had already been written, hence," my opponent is not campaigning".
While describing himself as a grassroots politician, Oyibo appealed to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC to ensure a free and transparent election in Ekurede Itsekiri/ Ugbori Ward, " to avoid crisis in my ward".
He disclosed that his campaign train will be taken to elders, youths and entire people of the twin communities of Ekurede Itsekiri and Ugbori come Friday February 19.
