Authorities of Ndokwa West Local Government Council, have promised to enlighten youths in the Local Government Area, about the Delta State Government’s Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Youth Empowerment Programme.
Our Kwale Correspondent, reports that the Head of Personnel Management of Ndokwa West Local Government Council cum Acting Chairman of the Local Government Area, Mr. Clement Anigoro, made the promise yesterday, Tuesday February 16, when the Delta State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mr. Matthew Tsekiri, paid him a working visit at the Council Secretariat in Kwale.
Mr. Anigoro, thanked the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and the Honorable Commissioner for creating a Programme that would empower and enrich youths in the State through ICT.
The State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mr. Matthew Tsekiri, had noted that the Delta State Government in running the ICT Programme, needs collaboration with youths at the grassroots.
While noting the importance the state government attaches to the programme, Mr. Tsekiri advised the Acting Chairman to sensitize and encourage youths in Ndokwa West Local Government Area to apply online for the four-month ICT Youth Empowerment Programme, noting that the application which is free, closes on March 1, 2021.
