Delta LG Poll: PDP is the Political Iroko of Warri South, Agbeyegbe declares

Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Warri South Local Government Area, Mr. Johnson Agbeyegbe, has described the PDP as the Political Iroko of Warri South, saying: “There is no other political party that has won PDP in any contest in the council area for sometime now”.

Mr. Agbeyegbe, emphasized that PDP is the only political party in Warri South Local Government Area.

The Warri South PDP Chairman, made the declaration today, Saturday February 20, at the PDP Secretariat in Warri, during the inauguration of a 50-member Warri South Local Government Council Election Campaign Committee and Campaign Committees for the 20 DSIEC Wards that make-up Warri South.

He advised PDP members in the local government area to, “step-up the spirit of unity and accommodate one another”, calling for greater cooperation among members of the party.

Chairman of the inauguarated Warri South Local Government Council Election Committee, Chief (Dr.) Joseph Otumara, stated: “We are very confident of victory, but we must do what we need to do. This is a PDP State and LGA. We have no doubt in our mind, only one party’s name will be heard come March 6”.

The Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, who promised to meet with members of the campaign committees with a view to giving them the necessary support, averred that Warri South is the established home for PDP.
