The leadership of Warri South Local Government Chapter of Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE is in celebration, following the declaration of Dr. Michael Tidi as Chairman - Elect of Warri South Local Government Area, by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC.
In a statement made available to Fresh Angle International this morning, Sunday March 7, the local government workers' union, averred that the return of Dr. Tidi as Chief Executive of Warri South Local Government Area, would strengthen government and community relations in the council area and ultimately consolidate on peace - building in Warri South.

The statement authored by Warri South Local Government Council NULGE Chairman and Secretary, Prince Raymond Emiko and Mrs. Vivian Igwekpe, respectively, appealed to the re - elected Dr. Tidi, to build on the gains of his first tenure in terms of staff welfare, assuring that the union is ready to work with the incoming administration to enhance the revenue profile of the council through robust service delivery by staff of the council.
While expressing optimism that the second term of Dr. Tidi administration would birth increased infrastructural, Agricultural and socio - economic development of Warri South Local Government Area, NULGE assured staffers of Warri South Council that it will work in sync with the incoming executive council of the local government, in its resolve to continuously improve workers' welfare.
The union also congratulated the councillors-elect, wishing them success in their determination to serve people of Warri South.
