The Head of Personnel Management, HPM of Warri South Local Government Council, cum Administrator of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Dr. (Mrs.) Minnie Igbrude, earlier today, Saturday March 6, resolved a heated disagreement, nearly snowballing into possible fisticuffs, between an agent of APC Councillorship Candidate for Warri South GRA Ward, Madam Akande Felicia and two PDP leaders in the Ward.
Dr. Igbrude, who was supervising the council poll across different polling units in Warri South Local Government Area, alongside her team, which comprises of an Assistant Director of Administration in the Council, Mr. Geoffrey Anamali and the Chief Information Officer of the Council, Mr. Ebule Metsese, waded into the heated argument, which centred on where Peace Unit of the GRA Ward, should be positioned for eligible voters, since the original place for the polling unit, had been fenced off by the property owner.

Dr. Igbrude, Wife of former Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Young Daniel Igbrude, was able to pacify leaders of both political parties and amicable location was agreed upon for voting to commence.
At the Mabiaku Link Road in Warri, the Warri South Council Boss, directed some youths playing football on the road, to immediately vacate and go to their various polling units to cast their vote, with a view to allowing free movement of other voters and election monitors.

Mrs. Igbrude, who described the election as peaceful, went round voting units in Nana College, Ogwan in Oto-Orere, Okere-Urhobo, Uku Square in Okere, Olodi Primary School at Okpeki Ward, Ighobadu Primary School, Yonwuren College in Ugbuwangue, Ogun-Obite, Okere and other polling units in the area.

She advised the political party agents to maintain the prevailing peace, during voting, sorting out of ballots, counting of ballots and after the election exercise, saying peace is necessary for the development of Warri South Local Government Area and other parts of the state.
