Best HPM Award: Igbrude thanks Governor Okowa, Tidi

The Head of Personnel Management of Warri South Local Government Council, Dame Minnie Igbrude, Ph.D, has thanked Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, for creating conducive environment for her to work and serve diligently.

 

Dr. Igbrude, gave the appreciation at her office in Warri South Local Government Council Main Secretariat in Warri, Wednesday March 17, after receiving Legendary Award from Lamplight News.

 

Fresh Angle International can report that she was honoured for: “Excellence, hardwork, integrity, transparency, probity and accountability as the Best HPM”, in Delta State, between January and March 2021.

 

While dedicating the award to her departed husband, Rt. Hon. Young Daniel Igbrude, for being there for her always, the Director of Personnel Management, expressed delight, saying: “I didn’t lobby for it (referring to the award)”.

Dr. Igrude, added: “I will always dedicate myself to hardwork. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to always stand-out and also want to thank my 2IC, Mr. Geoffrey Anamali, Mrs. Charity Odion and other staff for their support, the award will spur me to work harder”.

Editor of The Lamplight News, Okwufulueze Francis, in his remarks shortly before presenting the award, explained: “The award is presented to you (Dr. Igbrude) in recognition of your immense contributions to the growth and development of local government system in Nigeria”.

He averred that the honour was a call for Dr. Igbrude, to do more in the service of humanity, adding that the recognition was sequel to a report from a fact-finding committee, which went round councils in the state February this year.

 

Assistant Directors of Administration in Warri South Local Government Council, Mr. Geoffrey Anamali and Mrs. Charity Odion as well as Mrs. Georgina Evah, were among personalities present during the award presentation.
