Tidi solicits improved relationship with Nigerian Army

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Dr. Michael Tidi, has called for improved relationship between the Nigerian Army and his administration, saying Personnel of the Force have been deploying professionalism in the course of their assignment, whenever they are called upon by the Council’s Management.

Dr. Tidi, made the call Tuesday April 13, when he led the immediate past and incoming Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Joseph Oribioye, Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management and Director of Administration, Dr. (Mrs.) Minnie Igbrude, the Head of Works Department of the Council, Engr. Isaac Otiedhe, the Council’s Assistant Director of Administration, Mr. Geoffrey Anamali and other key officials of the local government council on a working visit to the Commanding Officer, 3 Battalion Effurun, Major Ismail M Hussain.

While disclosing that the full complement of his administration’s executive would soon be inaugurated, Dr. Tidi, emphasized that the State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, gave the council chairmen the mandate to ensure peace and security as well as improve on the environmental sanitation and beautification in the local government areas.

The Commanding Officer, 3 Battalion Effurun, Major Ismail Hussain, in his brief response, noted that the policy direction of Dr. Tidi’s administration, was in line with the core mandate of the Force, assuring that the relationship between Warri South Local Government Council and the 3 Battalion of Nigerian Army, Effurun will be improved upon.
