The Itsekiri National Development Initiative, INDI, has demanded fairness, equity and transparency in the ongoing 2021 NDDC Foreign Scholarship Awards.
INDI, in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International this evening, Wednesday April 28, warned that the award of the 2021 NDDC Foreign Scholarship: “Should not go the way of the 200 secret employment done, where Itsekiri ethnic Nationality was denied opportunity”.

Comrade Akatakpo Omatseye, added: “We wish to warn that we will resist any attempt to deny the Itsekiri of the scholarships this time.
“We want to also call on all Itsekiri graduates in the various fields as stated in the NDDC guidelines, to ensure they apply and send a copy to us, because we will not tolerate any excuse on the denial of opportunity. We wish to reiterate our earlier demands for equal opportunities in NDDC office”.
