Declare your 2015 ambition, group enjoins Jonathan

A Niger Delta based group, No Vacancy in Aso Rock 2015 Campaign Organization has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to declare his intention to run for a second tenure in 2015 “without further delay in the interest of the country”.

The National Coordinator of No Vacancy in Aso Rock 2015 Campaign Organization, Comrade Godstime Ombu made the call at Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital during an enlarged meeting of various state coordinators of the organization held to review strategies to drum up support for Goodluck/Sambo ticket in 2015.

According to Godstime Ombu, the organization has finalized plans to launch a robust mobilization of the grassroots in the country for the support of President Goodluck Jonathan come 2015.

He stated that the country’s past leaders “should be grateful to Mr. President for cleaning up the mess of their mis-rule which is at the base of the country's many challenges today”.

Ombu added, “within the last 3 years, the country has experienced enormous transformation in the most critical sectors of the economy. It is only President Jonathan that can consolidate on the gains achieved in the country's democratic governance. We are impressed with his management of the affairs of the country, particularly the handling of the current security challenges. That is why we are mobilizing Nigerians to support Mr. President who is working hard to correct the system”.

The National Coordinator of the group noted that, “with the inauguration of the Delta State Chapter of the No Vacancy in Aso Rock 2015, I am impressed that the group’s membership base is rapidly expanding within the target time frame”.

While expressing the group’s unflinching commitment to work with President Goodluck Jonathan towards his re-election, the group’s coordinator further stated that he was inspired to form the organization based on the people oriented programmes of Jonathan’s administration.
