NEITI, CAC to unmask owners of Nigeria’s oil, gas and mining assets

The Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, NEITI and the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, have begun moves to unmask the real owners of crude oil, gas and mining assets in Nigeria, Fresh Angle International can report.

As part of the moves, a joint coordination committee to identify, document and disclose the real owners under the country's implementation of Beneficial Ownership Policy of the global Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, EITI, will soon be established.
