Delta 2023: We are for you- Kiagbodo delegation assures Gbagi

A group of persons from Kiagbodo in Ngbelebiri-Mein Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, has assured business mogul and governorship aspirant, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, of their total support in his quest to succeed Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as governor of Delta State come 2023, saying “nothing will let us back, because we are fully with you in achieving your governorship ambition come 2023”.

 

Fresh Angle International can report that they gave the assurance Wednesday May 12 at Oginibo in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, when they paid solidarity visit to Olorogun Gbagi.

 

While declaring their unalloyed support for Olorogun Gbagi, they vowed to champion the campaign of the governorship hopeful in Ngbelebiri-Mein Kingdom, saying Olorogun Gbagi, “has distinguished himself in all aspects of live endeavours”.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that members of the delegation from Ngbelebiri-Mein Kingdom, include Kenneth Akpokrise and Vick Afie, a prominent female community leader in the area.

 

Olorogun Gbagi, commended them for their support and urged them to sustain it.

 

While describing himself as a detribalized Deltan, the PDP Chieftain opined: “Since inception of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is the best governor. He has embarked on series of projects in all parts of the state”.

 

Olorogun Gbagi, disclosed that his appointment as Minister few years ago, was based on recommendation from Ijaw National Leader, Chief E.K Clark, saying through his effort as Minister of Education, “13 universities were established”.

 

He promised to make Ijaw areas in Delta State tourist destination, if elected as Delta State Governor, adding: “I have given over 2,500 people scholarships, irrespective of their tribe, religion and area. I own the biggest investment in Delta, I have done what we need to do for people, the issue of governorship of Delta State is between me, my destiny and God”.

 

Olorogun Gbagi, challenged other gubernatorial aspirants: “Where is your house, how many people have you employed and put food on their table?”
