Tazan Foundation donates educational materials to CG School

A Non-Governmental Organization, Tazan Saahibfatiu Onimisi Foundation, has donated educational materials worth thousands of naira, to staffs and students of Champions Group of School, Ehika Dagu, in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that the donation which was recently done, was part of efforts to improve educational standard in the State

The founder of the Foundation, Tazan Saahibfatiu Onimisi, disclosed that the gesture was one of the sole mandate, in ensuring the less privilege get access to quality education, give the vulnerable in the society a sense of belonging as well as advance learning in core rural communities in the state.

He said the gesture was a way of complimenting government’s efforts in education in the state.

Tazan told beneficiaries not to allow the fact that their school is located in a rural area affect their aspirations in life, urging them to make judicious use of the materials for self-improvement, as he promised that his foundation will not relent at impacting on the needy in the society.

“If you, students, of Champions Group of school should study well and grow through sound parental care, the sky will not only be your limit but your stepping stone to greatness,” he said.

The Proprietor of CG, Mr. Omeiza Ekundayo Philip, expressed his excitement towards the items donated and promised that his staff will judicious put the educational materials to best use.

While thanking the donor for the benevolence, Mr. Philip, lamented that schools in rural areas suffer so much neglect, saying the gesture would improve educational standard of the community dwellers.

He added that the school for a while has been in shortage of educational materials and equipment, while praising Tazan Foundation for putting smiles on the face of the staff and student of the school. 

Staff of the school, who spoke at the event, noted that the educational materials donated will avail them and the student more texts and equipment to ease teaching and impacting knowledge.
